About Us
Well-Traveled Soul is a gentle, human-centered program for people navigating life changes they did not consciously choose.
It offers companionship, steady support, and simple tools that help restore emotional grounding and a sense of inner clarity - even when circumstances are still challenging.
The program was originally co-created by Rebecca Psigoda and Jenn Stark, and is rooted in the core principles of Infinite Possibilities (an empowerment program created by Mike Dooley that teaches adults to live deliberately) - particularly the reminder that:
Even when life takes turns we never expected, we still have an inner light we can return to.
We offer our work with deep respect and gratitude to the Infinite Possibilities community, where many of us first learned to trust that hope is always possible.
Where this work comes from
Well-Traveled Soul did not begin as a curriculum. It grew out of real life.
Rebecca’s family has been touched by dementia at unusually young ages, and through this she witnessed how caregiving and change can reshape identity, emotional rhythms, and the way we move through our days.
She saw that while people often receive advice, instructions, or expectations - what they truly need is:
-
Space to feel what they feel
-
A sense of not being alone
-
Gentle practices that help them stay hopeful
This is where Well-Traveled Soul began: a compassionate place to walk with others, not lead them or fix them.
Leadership & stewardship
In 2025, as Rebecca stepped into retirement, she invited Kimberley Charman to become the Director of Well-Traveled Soul, with her full trust and blessing to continue and expand the program.

About Kimberley
Kimberley's work has always centered on dignity, compassion, and believing in the strength already inside people:
-

-
Founded a charity In her twenties supporting people with learning disabilities into real paid work (which continues thriving 35+ years later)
-

-
She now lives between England and Portugal, and approaches all of this work softly, steadily, and relationally.
“We don’t need to be fixed.
We need to be met.
And when we’re met gently, hope returns.”
- Kimberley Charman
Two Pathways to be part of this

1. Participant Pathway
For those walking an unexpected chapter of life - caregiving, loss, illness, disability, or major transition.
Small groups where you can be supported, be seen, and gently reconnect with yourself.
2. Facilitator Pathway
A 12-week training and mentoring programme for those who feel called to support others.
By the end, facilitators are already leading their first Well-Traveled Soul group - held and supported every step of the way.
Our way of being

We do not rush healing. We do not advise or correct.
We walk slowly. We hold steady. We trust the wisdom already within you.
Wherever you are - you’re welcome here.
You don’t have to be ready. You only have to take the next gentle step.
“What was different about Well-Traveled Soul was that it helped me put the oxygen mask on myself first. If you don’t look after yourself, you can’t look after anyone else.”
